Finished the hovel

 The wife was away this weekend working so I had enough free time to finish the building.  I tried to give it a dilapidated look both inside and out.  I will be weathering later as I need it for a game tomorrow.  

All foamex, matt board and coffee stirrer construction.  Tried to do a hole in the roof and I think it needed a bit more damage on the edges of the surface as it looks a bit off.

The only piece of per-preprepared bits that I did not use was the chair so I am pretty chuffed that it is all stuffed in.  Still some touch ups needed to take the shiny away from a couple of bits of glue.  Good enough for tomorrows game. 

Starting a witches hovel for my fantasy setting.

 Just as it says on the tin.  Starting with interior details.  I want to have a cluttered, chaotic and dilapidated interior.  All of the furniture will get some more washes where they are near walls and the floors to simulate mildew. 

Chests of drawers. These still have some wet washes on them so there are some shiny bits. 

Next is some shelving.

A few things that I have been working on.

 First is a model that really will not fit into any game system.  More of a want to do not a bit to fit into a specific spot in an army.  I wanted to do a Wild Hunt since I heard about the myth.  I was not able to find skeletal dogs that fit into my vision so it is just the horsemen.  Painted using the wonderful tutorial from the old Garden of Hectate Blog.  I will have to link it later as I can't find it at the moment.  3D printed find from Etsy.  Still needs tufts and vegetation. 

 

Next is a residential home for my fantasy setting.  

Last is the crypt for the cult of the laughing god.  I had a bunch of extra 3d printed masks for the tomb of horrors that needed using.  Figured I would kick out a quick build with them.  I did the exterior to match the temple that I previously built. 

Mari Lwyd

 Mari Lwyd always fascinated me and as I have no other projects at the moment and I had a spare 28mm horse skull in my bits box, I decided to try to sculpt one.  I am by no means a sculptor but here are my efforts at pushing putty around.  Done in Bees Putty with some green stuff.

Death on the wing.

 Just finished something that has been sat in my mind since I first read Glen's List.  

Years ago, this entry stuck in my head.  337. Even if the rules allow it, I cannot control 20,000 pigeons and use them as flying piranha.

What could be more frightening than that?    I ordered these from Diminiatures off Etsy as they would fit the bill.  

Used the same technique as my swarms of bats using UV resin as the adhesive to bond and streighten the 3d printed parts.
