Well that took longer than anticipated. I built the corner buttresses and they were a bit of work. Each corner had five courses of bricks per inch. The tower is going to end up a bit taller than ten inches. Here are the photos.
This is basically what the wall facing will look like.

Astronomy lab 2
Working out the particulars I have decided mechanical solar system will be mounted on a wall. Plan is to build a tower with these two panels on the upper level.
This one will have the solar system.
The opposite face will have some sort of adjustable looking device on it.
Stairs to the top will be on the back of one of these walls and the other two walls will have windows
I did the walls quite wide as I want lots of buttressing to give the building some texture and layering.

Astronomy lab
Now that we are social distancing in earnest including waiting in the car park to go into a shop that does not have anything in it becasue they have instituted Lord of the Flies shopping photocalls with the early bird gets the product because we cannot stock at any other time of the day. And begin calm.
I started another project. This one will be an astronomy lab. This started with a zodiac circle.
Then I built a mechanical solar system with some pins, wire, clock gears, mount board and a plastic ball.
Here is a quick mockup of what it will look like.
I have not decided if I am mounting on the ground or on a wall. Any thoughts.

Frostgrave temple 2
I figured out what I am doing with the basin in the centre of the temple.
Much more weathering to do.

Frostgrave Temple
This is still very much a WIP.
I have been building a temple for Frostgrave. It started with a set of pillars made of doweling,
detailed with solder and capped with Foamex.
I also tried some Green stuff World elfish and dwarfish
ruins. The are etched Brass and
tiny.
I finished it off with some more of the Green Stuff World
stacked Skulls plate.
The basin in the middle is painted white so another colour can be painted on prior to resin.
I still have enough pillars, ruins and skull plate to do another
identical temple.
