Yet more villagers

Ploughing through some more villagers.  Tried to work out small vignettes again.

Scribes and hearlds

Ladies of the night.  Tried to make it look like a back alley when placed between two buildings.

Punishment in the stocks.  This one turned out to be the most crowded.  Seven models on the base.

The lot.

That makes eleven villager stands done.  After this I have one more base of minstrels, some market stalls then a bunch of smaller bases of villagers to mill about.

BSC2021 Entry

LAF is holding its semi-regular build something terrainie competition.  This years theme is difficult terrain.  As I have wanted to do some marsh/bog terrain I figured that I would enter.  First step was cutting out lozenge shapes out of cork board, attaching to mount board and priming so they would not absorb as much moisture and warp.

Nothing spectacular as it is a technically simple build at this point.

Baby Yoda

He is not done.  My wife loves the baby Yoda from the Mandilorian.  She found one on a 3d printing site.  Tiny bugger.

More villagers and more temple.

As I am awaiting my order from the Bones V kickstarter with twenty new villagers I have decided to strip my existing villagers so they can be repainted with the new ones.  So far I have repainted my bar staff, monks and blacksmith.

I have also started on the basement for the temple.  It will be a crypt so it needs some bodies.

More work on a new, you guessed it Temple.

After picking up the most excellent statue from Otherworld miniatures I needed a temple to put it in.  I built the walls loose using foamex, Hirst arts decorative casts and metal orcs for the stelae.  Sand was poured into the background of the stelae and stabilized with superglue to provide a background.

Here is the temple level of the building.  No work has been done on the exterior so nothing to see there yet.

Here it is with the statue and braises in place.

Lastly here is one of my Frostgrave thieves and treasure hunter for scale.

I had to build the temple level first as I was waiting for parts to arrive for the crypt below.  There are still a couple of bits of stonework to finish on this floor just yet, and I also have to putty some gaps and level the top off so there is still a bit of work left to do.

Hope you like.

More models in anticipation for Stargrave

Picked up some more baddies from CP Models.  Their Avian squad.  Nothing spectacular but they will work as baddies.

Next are some objective markers.  I decided to mount them on 30mm bases so I could put a dice insert in them.  Now if I ever need to number the objectives I can.  Bits from Black Cat Bases, Crooked Dice and my bits box.
